Thank God for Constellation

It has been made official. Well, sort of. We'll see how everything comes out in the wash. Constellation saves the day. In an effort not to be outdone, Constellation Brands stepped up to the plate and is buying Mondavi. To draw a parallel to film, this isn't Godzirra vs. Mothra. This is the two of them going down to the bar, throwing back a few boilermakers and kicking the shit out of King Kong.

And I was worried that Bronco Wines was going to step in and market 'Woodbridge' as what it is: marginal crap. At least Constellation will still be able to get astronomical prices for the Mondavi Reserve Cab.
